My career is comprised of nearly 20 years of PR and strategic communications experience. I have worked on both the corporate and agency side in cities like Minneapolis, Chicago and Charlotte, positioning global brands in every major industry. I've represented well-known companies including the NFL, Kenmore, McDonald’s, Hewlett-Packard and Red Bull and have led them in areas like media relations, thought leadership, speaker training, media training and content strategy. I have also secured and prepared clients for speaking engagements and press interviews with outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes Magazine, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, People Magazine, MSNBC and FOX.

Though I am one of those people who are truly fortunate to be doing what they love, there is a lot more going on in my life than just work. I have 2 little boys named Jackson and Rowan who make sure life is never boring or full of too much rest. I have been married to their father for 10 years, a man who proposed after three months of knowing one another and is my biggest cheerleader. He takes care of the details so I can continue to dream and our marriage has blessed me in so many ways, even if the growing pains were hard. We live in the suburbs of Charlotte, which is something I never thought I would say after 10 years in Chicago!

I am a pretty open book, which goes against everything working in my industry teaches. I believe being vulnerable is a blessing you give others, allowing them to live authentically and show up as they are. As a woman who really didn't find self-acceptance until the age of 40, it is important for me to be an example of what it means to love yourself and empower others to find the confidence to be unstoppable. I am also an optimist,  lover of dogs, brussels sprouts, skincare products and notebooks.
